Latah County Courthouse The Assistive Listening System (ALS) is used to augment standard public address and audio systems by providing signals which can be received directly by persons with special receivers or their own hearing aids.
The ALS is to be used in each of the District Court Rooms and the Public Hearing Room 2B by connecting the T35 Transmitter to the existing Recording System. The R35 Receivers are provided to anyone needing hearing assistance and are available at the Information Booth or in Room 2B.
Anyone needing the use of the Assistive Listening System should contact either the County Auditor’s Office or the ADA Coordinator/Veterans Services Officer at least twenty-four (24) hours before any meeting or court date.
For more information about the ALS visit the National Association of the Deaf (NAD) web site.
