Hours: Monday – Saturday – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
There is a minimum $10.00 fee for all loads of disposal: up to 200 lbs household waste; 400 lbs demolition; or 280 lbs. mixed
Inert/Demolition Waste: $30.10 per ton
Includes large yard waste, furniture, mattresses, carpeting and untreated construction debris, etc.
Household Waste: $73.95 per ton Includes plastic/rubber materials, paper, food, Styrofoam, treated lumber, animal hides and waste, medical waste, fluorescent bulbs, etc.
Yard Waste: No charge
Includes branches, grass and leaves.
Free compost to Latah residents, when available.
Metal: No charge
Includes all metals and large appliances.
Recycling: Limited acceptance: plastic,
cardboard, glass, newspaper, tin, aluminum.
Tire Recycling: $157.95 per ton
Asbestos: $167.50 per ton
24-hour notice is required. Wet, place in 6-ML plastic bags and seal tightly with duct tape.
Household Hazardous Waste: No charge
Nov - Mar: First Saturday 8am - 4pm
Apr - Oct: All Saturdays 8am - 4pm
E-Waste: Not accepted, see Moscow Recycling
Payment is required by cash or check with disposal. Fees are established by the City of Moscow and are subject to change. Bulky Waste Sites are available for free disposal of specified items, see Bulky Waste page for more information.
