Hours: Monday – Saturday – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Latah County Solid waste fees include services offered at the Solid Waste Processing Facility.
DEMOLITION:Includes large yard waste, furniture, carpeting, construction debris, etc. •500 lbs. free per day, $29.05 per ton.
TRANSFER STATION:Includes household waste, animal hides and waste, treated lumber, etc. •100-lbs. free per day, $65.55 per ton.
YARD WASTE: Includes branches under 6" in diameter, grass, and leaves. •No charge
TIRE RECYCLING: Four tires without rims per day. •All others are $135.00 per ton. Tires with rims: $2.10 each.
SCRAP METAL: Includes all metals and appliances without CFC´s. •No charge
CFC APPLIANCES: Includes refrigerators and air conditioners. •No charge.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE: •APR - OCT: Sat 8am - 4pm •NOV - MAR 1st Sat of month 8am - 12pm Appointments may be made for other hours. no commercial business
ASBESTOS: Wet, put in 6-ML plastic bags wrapped and sealed tightly with duct tape. •$125.20 a ton. 24-hour notice is required.
For amounts not included in your monthly fee, payment is due at time of disposal by cash or check only. Fees are subject to change at anytime. Commercial accounts and businesses will be charged for all disposals of waste.
