Issues titles and registrations for vehicles and vessels Administers written and visual acuity test for driver’s license eligibility, instructional permits, Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL) and identification cards. Photographs applicants and issues licenses, permits and identification cards. Inquiry and data input into the Idaho Department of Transportation computer systems. Duties are customer-facing and require frequent, courteous communication with the public.

Deputy Clerk - Lead Recorder
The lead recorder receives and reviews a broad range of documents to be recorded ensuring they meet Idaho Code. Performs record research and archiving. Provides customer service for passports, marriage licenses, alcohol licenses, & catering permits. Supervises annual alcohol license renewals. Serves as the administrative head of the Department of Noxious Weed Control and directs county-wide noxious weed control program in accordance with State and Federal laws, Department of Agriculture Rules and Regulations, County ordinances and resolutions, and such policies and procedures as may be set forth by the County Control Authority (Commissioners).
